Editorial and Corrections
If something on this site is wrong, out of date, or missing an important constraint, tell us. Corrections are the fastest way to make a practical guide better, and we would rather hear it from you than leave it standing.
We read everything and reply to corrections within five working days. Where a correction is material we note it, dated, at the foot of the article.
Useful things to include: the page URL, the specific claim, and what you believe the right answer is. A source is even better.
Questions About a Format
If you are planning something and cannot find the answer here, write to the same address and say what the constraint is — budget, footprint, date, or hall. If it is a question several people are likely to have, it usually becomes an article.
We cannot quote, price or specify a project by email. That is a different kind of conversation and it belongs with one of the businesses below.
